So here we are, it's November already which means the semester is well under way. Students are in the midst of their classes, games, out of school activities, and trying to maintain a social life. While the leaders are working hard to show them the love of Jesus. It's easy to view this time of year as a coasting zone, a place where we don't have to worry or get excited. Everything can become very routine at this point, but it's important to remember that Jesus is still moving. I don't think there's any time of the year that Jesus just coasts around. He is never on autopilot, so why should we be? For us, as leaders, that means we need to continue to pursue kids, hangout with them, and love them like Jesus does. We must remember to be looking cautiously into their lives and make sure they are not caught up in the monotony that happens in the middle of the semester. We must see them with the same passion and fire that we did in September at the very first club. The staff and the leaders need your prayers. Pray for us to not get caught up in the routine and that we don't coast with the students, but that we lead them well. Thank you for your continued support and love for Frisco Young Life.
"Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you." -Psalms 63:3
